Preparing for Argument Friday

On Thursday, we will tie up Syntax. If you have been absent,

• there were some notes on syntax,
•  an exercise to help you start putting these to memory - you turned this in, 
• a syntax analysis exercise 

Today - you will start crafting your arguments for a debate on compassion

You will need to:

• read the argument & take a position
• collect 3 different forms of evidence
• describe & convincingly explain your 3 forms of evidence in a paragraph each (3 paragraphs) 
• have your written evidence and arguments ready to go at the beginning of class on Friday
